Sea & Sea releases Nikon D800 housing
Sea & Sea has announced the release of their MDX-D800 housing for the new Nikon D800.
The MDX-D800 is an aluminum housing and features what Sea & Sea describe as enhanced ergonomics, which provides access to both the command and sub command dials with both hands on the grips.
The MDX-D800 features fiber-optic strobe triggering but also has an additional port that can take an optional Nikonos (or other) bulkhead.
There is an additional port for an HDMI out. All camera functions except the fn button can be accessed, and the pop-up flash can be raised and lowered via housing controls.
The MDX-D800 will be available in July 2012 and prices are still to be announced.
